What was this you ask? (You probably didn't ask but... that's fine) Well... it was our (OR I) AMAZING ART! (

Oh... and the love art is from this website: Word art) So what we did for word art (The love heart) is that we had to go in word art (Again! Link here: I know this link AGAIN!) that we had to put some word into word art and click visualise so It will create this!:
                                                           (Below this)

Now it's time for the water bottle what we did is we went on google drawings (Link here: Google Drawings

What is the purpose

What I've been doing...

Hello hello! How you doing again! Good? Bad? Meh I don't care... so of course my name is NERU Collins and I'm here to tell you about what I have been doing. So ENJOY!

So tomorrow (On Friday) we have to share our commonwealth games and this is what I have been researching about:      What is the commonwealth games?:

The Commonwealth Games is an international multi-sport event involving athletes from theCommonwealth of Nations. ... The most recen tCommonwealth Games are being held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia from 4 - 15 April 2018

What are the games at commonwealth games?:
Things like-
  • Athletics-the sport of competing in track and field events, including running races and various competitions in jumping and throwing.
  • Badminton-
  • A game with rackets and shutttlecock is hit back and fourth across the net.
  • Basketball-a game played between two teams of five players in which goals are scored by throwing a ball through a netted hoop fixed at each end of the court.
  • Bowls-How do you play?
  • Stand on the mat, feet together, knees and waist bent slightly. Take ball in your preferred hand (right or left) Step out with your opposite foot (left or right) Take a small back swing. Bend down and roll bowl along the ground. Roll it out at an angle, so the bowl curves back towards jack.
  • Boxing-the sport or practice of fighting with the fists, especially with padded gloves in a roped square ring according to prescribed rules (the Queensberry Rules).
  • Cycling- the sport or activity of riding a bicycle. Cycle racing has three main forms: road racing (typically over long distances), pursuit (on an oval track), and cyclo-cross (over rough, open country).
  • Diving.
  • Plunge head first into water with one's arms raised over one's head.
  • Gymnastics.` exercises developing or displaying physical agility and coordination. The modern sport of gymnastics typically involves exercises on bars, beam, floor, and vaulting horse.

History of games:
A sporting competition bringing together the members of the British Empire was first proposed by John Astley Cooper in 1891, when he wrote an article in The Times suggesting a "Pan-Britannic-Pan-Anglican Contest and Festival every four years as a means of increasing goodwill and good understanding of the British Empire". John Astley Cooper Committees were formed worldwide (Australia) and helped Pierre de Coubertin to get his international Olympic Games off the ground.[3] In 1911, the Festival of the Empire was held at The Crystal Palace in London to celebrate the coronation of George V. As part of the Festival of the Empire, an Inter-Empire Championships were held in which teams from Australia, Canada, South Africa, and the United Kingdom competed in athletics, boxing, wrestling and swimming events.

Random fact:
They haven't always been called the Commonwealth Games.

What is the commonwealth countries?:
Usually, countries within the Commonwealth are former British colonies, but some countries, such as Samoa, Papua New Guinea and Namibia, are more closely linked to current member-states such as Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa, rather than to any historical allegiance or constitutional tie to England.

Which countries take part?:
Commonwealth Games, as a number of dependent territories compete under their own flags. The four Home Nations of the United Kingdom England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland also send separate teams.

How many people take part?:
53 people and 71 teams take part in commonwealth games.

So there is my commonwealth games ah... research. And I hoped you had a good time reading it. And I guess that's all I've been researching um... That's it (Again) Ah... BYE!!!

PBL

Hello my fellow peps! It is I! Neru Collins! And I am going to share about my PBL! (Which was actually hard)

FOR PBL WE WERE DOING "MINDFULNESS,

First we had to type a question down such as "How does the lungs work?" Or "How does the brain work?" You basically get it. And after that we could ask are friends, or do some MAD research about it, or even ask a family member, but I just did some MAD research.

So enough of that, my question was... "How does the heart work?" We could also work with a buddy or on our own, I went with William Leech. Anyway's "How does the heart work?" I did some MAD research like I said I also asked some family members such as my Nana (Cause she works in a hospital)
And she told me that "The right side of the heart pumps out BLOOD to make oxygen" I put that down and said thank you of course.

I did research on the other two facts. I put down: Such as "The left side of the heart receives oxygen from the lungs and pumps it into the body" And "The heart has four chambers and four valves and is connected to various BLOOD vessels"

Anyways, that has been my speech! And I hope you have learned about the heart!! Bye!!! (P.S This was quite a while ago... LIKE A WHILEE!!)

My culture

Holiday
Every year I go to Samoa to see my Dad. We stay at house not that far from a dairy. My Aunty and Grandpa/my family has always been to the house every time we've been at Samoa, we always stay at the house. Sometimes we go for a walk in the market to see what we want to buy. Usually there's fruit (coconuts, mango, taro, and classic fruit). But all the time we always go to the village to see my Mama, and Papa. OH! And did you know if it rains in Samoa, the rain is hot.

At the village. I ALWAYS ask for noodles, why? BECAUSE THE NOODLES ARE SO SATISFYING WHEN YOU EAT IT! My sister had her birthday up in Samoa,  I got a lot of itchy bites, and they were sore.
Also, have you ever been to Samoa?
Wait! I have to admit something, I was quite gloomy why I had to go because of all the itchy bites. But at the same time it was quite agreeable!
NOW! Byeeee!!!
