Reading Goal - Term 2

Hello everyone! My name is, Neru Collins, And today! I will be sharing with you guys.... MY READING GOAL! (Goal - "How can we use questions to challenge the text, question the author, establish the authenticity of the text and state opinions?" ) I hope you enjoy!

Basically, we had to choose from, 3 different articles;

- Australian Ball Tampering.
- Climate Change Protest. or,
- No Rep Sport.

Our task was we dragged some text from the author, write our opinion about it, then did some similarities. I did Climate Change Protest, and this was my work:

How would you challenge the author?

Anyways, this was a very interesting task to do, hearing the author's opinion about the whole situation was very cool! The author has an, AMAZING, opinion, it was very interesting (Like I said before) what she thought of the situation

Teacher's strike - Term 2

Hello everybody, my name is Neru Collins, and today, I am going to be telling you about the teacher's strike. So, let's begin.

On Wednesday, our teachers decided to go on a strike. They told us, "It's not about the money, we want to just give you more time"

Which in my opinion, it's kinda a good choice.

I believe that we should have more learning since we have little to learn, well, that's my opinion.

Why do you think they went on a strike?

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed about me telling me about the strike, my thought is that they did it for more learning (Like I said before) and, yeah!

Reading Task - Term 2

Hello everyone! My name is Neru Collins and welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be sharing with you my Reading Task. Basically, we had to read a poem and visualise the senses, we then had to highlight them the colour of the sense. Enjoy!

[Vision: Blue]
[Taste: Pink]
[Feel: Green]
[Smell: Yellow]
[Hearing: Orange]

Here's my poem:

Poem: “The Mountain”

As I walk up on the mountain during night

I  see some light upon my sight

As I feel the daisies growing between my toes

The fresh blue air rises upon my nose

I smell the flowers scent through the air

I pick some up, like I couldn’t care.

I hear something buzzing, “Oh, what could that be?”

And then I spot, a crowd of bees

As I run down the mountain, I taste the breeze.

Flowing between my, cold, dirty, knees.

As I plop on the ground, I look in the sky

As the shimmers in the stars glow bright between my eyes

I take one last peek, at the dazzling sight

I close my eyes, then I fall asleep in the night.
